The SMICS Colorectal Tumour Group work collaboratively to improve the delivery of care to colorectal cancer patients. Their activities are guided by the Patient Management Frameworks which outline a consistent statewide approach to optimal care management.
Membership comprises health professionals from SMICS member health services: Alfred Health, Cabrini Health, Southern Health, and Peninsula Health and includes specialist medical, nursing and allied health staff.

- enhancing MDT meetings (part of the Continuum of Care Project)
- exploring a model of care coordination for colorectal patients at Cabrini Health
