The SMICS Upper GI Tumour Group work collaboratively to improve the delivery of care to upper gastrointestinal cancer patients. Their activities are guided by the Patient Management Frameworks which outline a consistent statewide approach to optimal care management.
Membership comprises health professionals from SMICS member health services: Alfred Health, Cabrini Health, Southern Health, and Peninsula Health and includes specialist medical, nursing and allied health staff.
